TRON 1
Bipedal Robot with Three-in-One Modular Foot End
TRON 1 is the first multi-form bipedal robot from LimX Dynamics. A single hardware platform switches between three foot morphologies — point feet, flat biped feet and wheeled feet — so the same machine can run on uneven forest ground, walk as a humanoid or roll at speed on flat floors. Locomotion policies are trained with reinforcement learning, which is what gives the platform its recovery behaviour: it stays standing when pushed, pulled or kicked. An on-board Intel i3 with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage runs the full Python development stack, and the same models deploy into NVIDIA Isaac, MuJoCo and Gazebo for simulation. A 48 V joint bus delivers 80 N·m peak joint torque and the 240 Wh hot-swappable battery pack gives roughly two hours of runtime.
