Fully-Open Mobile Dual-Arm Robot
The L1 is a fully open mobile dual-arm robot from VLAI Robotics. The wheeled differential base measures 0.46 m x 0.6 m, turns on the spot and carries up to 100 kg, while the arms add 16 degrees of freedom — 8 per arm — with shoulder, elbow and wrist geometry that mirrors the human arm 1:1, which makes teaching-by-demonstration much more intuitive. Each arm handles 6 kg with a 12 kg two-arm peak, and the working height adjusts from 70 to 160 cm so the same platform covers bench height and counter height. Runtime exceeds 12 hours and the platform supports remote teleoperation, VR-based control and data capture, positioning it for research education, industrial testing and home-service scenarios alike.
